Our camps are over for the summer and we had a wonderful time. Some new friendships were made along with some wonderful art projects. Below are pictures from some of our summer camps. Hopefully you can join us next year if you missed out on our camps.

My young daughters love Arty Smarty classes and camps. It is a wonderful, safe place where they have been able to experiment with many different types of art mediums and expand their drawing skills under Donna’s caring guidance. | The Arty Smarty Fashion Camp taught me a lot about more sophisticated designing and drawing fashion figures. It was interesting taking in a perspective from an experienced designer like Shannon, and I enjoyed seeing all the details in her drawings. We learned about making the designs drape on the figures we drew and shading our designs using colored pencils. We also put our creative skills to the test when we splatter painted mannequin heads, made hats and "all about me" flip flops. I would definitely take this camp again to step up my design game. I started off not knowing if I would like the camp or not. After I got into it, I got more and more inspired to draw models and design clothes for them! In order to learn about how clothes would drape, I learned about center of balance. Now I am drawing models and designing clothes for them all the time and I love it!
