About our Arty Smarty Instructors
Donna is the owner and lead instructor for Arty Smarty. She has a passion for art and enjoys showing children how to explore their inner creativity.
With art education fading from our children’s classrooms, she has committed her passion to the community. Donna served on the Mona Link Board for the Museum of NW Art in La Conner and actively volunteers in the schools. “Art touches children in many wonderful ways!”
Miss Laura is our Biddy Art Instructor. She enjoys nurturing creativity in our younger students and teaching them to enjoy art as much as she does. She has taught art at Utsalady Elementary School on Camano Island for over five years.
Miss Carrie is our Homeschool Instructor. She has homeschooled her own children during certain periods of their schooling. She feels that it is very important for children to learn art appreciation at an early age. She enjoys fostering creativity in our homeschool students. She coordinated a volunteer art program in the Stanwood/Camano School District for the past two years and has taught art in elementary classrooms for many years.
