Elementary and Intermediate Classes (6 week sessions)
Our classes meet one hour a week for 6 week sessions. We offer Elementary Classes (1st-5th grade) and Intermediate Classes (5th-8th grade). Each session will have a concentrated area of study. We keep our class size small with only eight students per class. This allows for more one-on-one time with your child.
Each session is based around a centered theme. Your child will be introduced to various art mediums such as paints, pastels, colored pencils, clay etc. They will learn about various art terminology (color values, lines, texture, etc.).They will also be introduced to famous artists and illustrators. We encourage our students to build upon their creativity through our guided art lessons. Each week they will work on a project to take home.

Class Schedules and Tuition:
Elementary Classes:
~Fall is in the Air - Projects will be centered around fall themes. We will learn about positive and negative space, create collages and utilize art mediums such as pastels and paints.
~Express Yourself - Your child will enter the world of Expressionism. This class will motivate creative thinking by asking students to describe and interpret paintings of famous artists. They will explore their emotions through painting and create projects with other art mediums.
~Meet the Illustrator - We will jump into many of your favorite childrens books to learn about the illustrator's artistic style. We will create various projects centered around their style to take home.
~Art Around the World -We will visit multiple countries and study their art history. Each class will be centered around projects that reflect that countries style. We will utilize various art mediums.
Intermediate Classes:
~3-Dimensional Art I/II - Your child will complete various 3-D art projects utilizing various art mediums. We will create with paper mache and make some other zany 3-D art projects!
~Faces All Around Us - All of our projects will be centered around faces! We will learn how to paint faces like an Impressionist. Create a face collage and a make a fun "group of faces" project.
~7 Elements of Art -We will study the 7 elements of art: line, shape, texture, color, value, form and space. We will also learn about famous artists who incorporate these elements in their art and complete projects utilizing many art mediums.

Elementary and Intermediate Class Tuition:
Tuition is $90 per session for 6 weeks and is due by the first day of class. The fee for classes covers all material costs too. If a class fills up, you will be notified and you can be put on a waiting list. A $15 deposit is required to hold your child's spot in the class. The deposit will be credited against the total tuition due on the first day of class.
Sibling Discount:
We offer a 5% discount off your tuition for additional siblings.
