Arty Smarty is an art studio that encourages children to explore their inner creativity and imagination. We offer an enriching art environment for children ages 4-14. Our studio is located on beautiful Camano Island.
At our studio your child will be exposed to various art mediums and art styles. We will incorporate studies of various illustrators and art masters throughout our lessons. Our goal is to make each child feel special about their own artwork while having fun in the process.
Students will learn how to tap into their inner creativity through guided instruction and also during “free creating time”. Your child will gain valuable skills that will carry over to their academic and social environments. It is proven that art helps with other areas such as problem solving, math, spatial thinking and fine motor skills!

Summer CampsWe have our schedules posted now for our upcoming summer camps!!! We are offering Biddy, Elementary and Tween/Teen camps. Now Registering for our Last Session of the School YearWe only have one more session to register your child for art classes which will begin in May. We have added a new Monday Elementary Class from 5-6 pm. Please visit our Elementary/Intermediate page for class schedules. You can call or email us to receive a registration form. We offer a 5% sibling discount for any of our art classes. Please note that you can register for our Biddy and Homeschool classes at any time throughout the year.
Class SchedulesWe observe the Stanwood/Camano School District calendar. This applies to both holiday and weather related closures. There will not be classes during Mid-Winter Break or Spring Break.
NEW Biddy ClassesWe have restructured our Biddy Classes. We now offer on-going weekly Biddy classes at a reduced tuition rate. The classes will be held on Thursdays and Fridays for 50 minutes in length. Visit our Biddy Art page for more information.

My son is 8 years old and has been involved with Arty Smarty for the past year. He was diagnosed with Autism when he was 2 1/2 years old. Art has always been one of his special talents and this class has been perfect for him. Donna is a very warm and loving teacher and she is very accommodating to my sons special needs. Her class is fun and full of different activities to meet each child's art abilities. My son attended the summer camp and had a blast.
